SR 500 Filter Fan with standard battery.
The fan’s lightweight, ergonomic design and the belt provide a high level of comfort.
Easy operation with just one button. Two airflow settings, +175 and +240 l/min, to ensure a high level of protection. These values are maintained constantly throughout operation by the fan’s automatic flow control.
Long runtime—up to 13 hours—combined with fast-charging lithium-ion batteries ensures uninterrupted use without unnecessary downtime.
Automatic flow control compensates for clogged filters. Self-calibrates based on the selected facepiece and filter.
Unique alarm system with vibration, audible, and visual signals in case of airflow obstruction, clogged filters, or low battery level.
Ball-bearing fan motor with a balanced fan impeller, for trouble-free and long operating time.
EMC-approved electronics that emit minimal electromagnetic radiation and are not affected by electromagnetic fields.
Removable battery, an intelligent lithium-ion type for fast charging and without negative memory effects.

The SR 570 hood, together with the battery-powered SR 500 or SR 700 fan and approved filters, is part of Sundström’s fan-assisted respiratory protection system.
The respirator’s breathing tube is connected to the fan equipped with a filter.
The positive pressure created inside the facepiece prevents particles and other contaminants from entering the facepiece.
The equipment can be used as an alternative to filter respirators in all situations where such respirators are recommended. This applies in particular to heavy, hot, or prolonged work.
