Toothed grease scraper for measuring the thickness of deposits in kitchen drain lines (workplaces, residences, commercial kitchens)
Grease and other deposits accumulate in ventilation ducts; these are flammable and can lead to major fires. Therefore, regular inspections are important.
If the deposit thickness is 0–300 µm, the drains are considered clean.
When deposits are heated, they simply become liquid.
If the deposit thickness is 300–600 µm, the vent should be cleaned within 1 month.
If deposits are heated, there is a risk of a localized fire.
If the deposit thickness exceeds 600 µm, the duct should be cleaned immediately.
Heating deposits poses a risk of fire spreading through the duct system.
