The Wöhler DP600 is designed to measure the airtightness of chimneys. The DP600 measures all chimney classes (N1, N2, P1, P2, H1, and H2) in accordance with EN 1443.
In Sweden, N1 is the most common class; this package includes equipment for measuring that class as well as 9 sealing pads (other pads are available in our “Sealing Pads” category).
When taking a measurement, you enter the chimney’s length and diameter; the DP600 automatically calculates the chimney’s surface area in square meters. The chimney is sealed using sealing pads or sealing bladders. The machine then builds up positive pressure and displays the leakage rate per square meter, as well as whether the chimney passes or fails the test.
You can then locate the leaks by using a smoke cartridge.
